General Q&A’s: https://www.sarahrimmel.com/immersives
This is an immersion for people new to somatic/embodiment methodologies, particularly people on the frontline of organizing or healthcare. This is an immersion for practitioners, and educators who have been engaged in this change theory for some time now and are ready to receive some pouring back into themselves. This is a space to be really seen; to feel yourself again— your aliveness, our shared humanity, your breath, your voice - and to come back to yourself. After all you've been holding and carrying for others; it's time to comeback to you.
Together we will (may shift):
arrive and enjoy a nice lunch
learn a somatic centering practice
self-assess how you're "actually" doing, gaps and opportunities
watch a somatic coaching demonstration to better understand this methodology
create a spiritual container for rest
enjoy an full-body organ meditation
engage in a plàtica (an open-heart communication for healing)
create a somatic commitment and roadmap

Hello! I am an auntie, dreamer, hiker, and tea-drinker whose work is shaped by growing up biracial in a white household with a single parent navigating addiction. I am of mixed-raced ancestry, whose formative identity has been forged in patterns of blending in and vagueness for safety and belonging. In the journey of healing the fractures of my European and Bangladeshi roots, I have been fortunate to learn along the way from many indigenous, Latina, Chinanx, Black, African American, and bi-cultural teachers. As a somatic coach, my professional lineage blends study and practice with Strozzi Institute, Aikido, Sobunfu Somé, Resmaa Menaken, and more. I regularly meet with somatic abolitionists to practice collective healing, and have some familiarity with teachings of Curanderismo. I also hold a Master of Science in Management, a Bachelor of Science in Community Health, and over 15 years of experience across higher education, nonprofit organizations, and social justice advocacy.

Hi, I’m eutimia (timi, timya, rain). I am a xicana, originally from what is now called denver (ute, cheyenne, arapaho, shoshone, comanche territories) by way of what is now called the southwestern u s of a. I was raised within my maternal lineage of hands-on-healers and seers. My mother was the first xicana in colorado with palabra of danza mexicayotl. I was raised in ceremony ways. I’ve received formal education in medical anthropology (stanford university), chinese medicine (msom), and curanderismo (many lineages), augmenting my inborn medicine inheritance. I have nearly 40 years of hands-on-healing experience, over 20 years of traditional chinese medicine practice, decades of folk medicine connection and application and have helped thousands of humans heal. Now, I’m called to share with you all (healers treating one-on-one clients) the rich and vast wisdom, knowledge and skill base I have been blessed to earn and cultivate over my lifetime of stewarding human healing and ceremonial spaces.
